VCJGA/SCGA Foundation Junior Golf Summit

Seminar for Junior Golfers Interested in Playing College Golf

The VCJGA in partnership with the SCGA Foundation is hosting the Junior Golf Summit, 6- 9 pm, Wednesday, February 17th at Calabasas Country Club in Calabasas.  The seminar features  great speakers who will address the many questions junior golfers and their parents have about playing golf at the next level including getting noticed, recruiting, the college experience, and picking the right school.  Confirmed panelists include:

  • Ted Gleason, former men’s golf coach at USC and SMU and currently head of Road to College Golf
  • Bill Cunnerty, former men's golf coach at Saddleback College
  • Laurie Gibbs, Women's Golf Coach at Pepperdine University

Cost is $8 per person, which includes a free subscription to the Ping “Guide to College Golf” (one per family).  Food and drink will also be provided.

Attendance will be limited to the first 200 who register.  Now in its 8th year, this is the first time the Junior Golf Summit has been held in the Ventura County area.
