2008 MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION IS $160

FLIGHT & AGE GROUP INFORMATION

The VCJGA Tour has 3-Flights - Golfers must consistently shoot in the 90's (or better) for 18-Holes in order to play on the VCJGA Tour:

Championship Boys - Ages 15 to 18 (For boys that can consistently shoot 82 or better)
Championship Girls - Ages 12 to 18
Boys - Ages 12 to 14

Flights are based on age range (no handicaps).

The VCJGA Mini-Tour has 5-Flights and plays 9-Holes - Entry level age groups and Q-School.

Sign up for events that begin with the words "MiniTour".

(Qualifying School is a prooving ground for those that are 12 to 18 wanting to play on the VCJGA Tour.

Q-School is a non-competitive playing ability test. Shoot the target score or better for 3-rounds and you will move to the VCJGA Tour).

Flights are based on age range and play age appropriate tees.

2008 VCJGA MEMBER INSTRUCTIONS:

Past or renewing and future members must begin by clicking on “New Member? Sign-up now!” link in the Player’s Club box (< to the left) located just above the thick black line on the home page.
Complete the on-line application; and pay the membership fee (site is secure).
Go to Membership Tab > Code of Conduct & Character > Print. Read carefully, sign, date (parent/guardian and junior golfer) and return to VCJGA before being cleared for tournament play. Before playing in any tournament, it is strongly advised that you read and understand the VCJGA Tour Policy.
Check your e-mail. You should receive an e-mail Registration Acknowledgement from: VenturaCountyJGA@BlueGolf.com (first timers sometimes need to check spam or junk mail folder). This will include your ID/PW to enter the site in the future and to sign-up for events.
When you sign-up for your first tournament, you will need to pass a USGA Rules of Golf Quiz. You may use your USGA Rules of Golf booklet to complete the quiz. The quiz is true or false and must be passed before being cleared for tournament play:
- If you are age 11 and under the quiz is 15 questions and a minimum score of 11 is passing
- If you are age 12 and older the quiz is 45 questions and a minimum score of 32 is passing
  
  To access to QUIZ, use your newly e-mailed ID and PW to access the site > select Tournaments.
